Magnolia Inn of Gautier

This is a nice place. It's not a fou star hotel, but it is clean, quiet, and there is plenty of hot water. There is a nice large parking lot, and it is easy to enter and exit.

Originally I had given a great review on this place but tonight I've changed my entire opinion. I've spent many years and countless weekends here but tonight, I will never again. Customer service was horrible. I checked into our rooms and immediately left. Never used the room. Called to let them know that my husband was called out of town for a job at last minute and we would not be needing those rooms after all. Customer service was extremely rude with the remark of "What do you expect from me. I can't help you". First of all, I never asked for anything except for respect as a paying long time customer. Hope this place learns some respect. I will take my weekends elsewhere and I would recommend everyone else to do the same.

Checked in late due to unexpected issue, (personal) only problem we had was issue with tv, but it was quickly squared away by the manager, promptly is an understatement he was there and gone and the TV was in business.

Hotel staff were friendly. Called to book for my grandma room was very clean and nice the only downfall was they filled their pool in so no swimming lol no big deal but the reviews I seen a pool posted a year ago but even then it’s not bad at all. Not a lot close to the hotel but it’s a small town not far from McDonald’s pizza places etc if your driving walking wouldn’t recommend it

Very nice grounds, well manicured. It sits on highway 90 not close to the Interstate so it seems to have more local visitors than travelers. People on business trips and such would probably enjoy their stay at this property. I had a pleasant experience here myself.

Just want to say, wonderful room. Theres no bugs of any kind. Not even cockroaches. Theres huge New MANAGEMENT sign on street. I didn't hear either room beside me. Theres no carpet, looks like stone flooring, very clean. Im in smoking room, i cant smell cigarette odor. I dont smoke! Big frigerator in room. Microwave was clean. Cable is super fantastic so many channels and i saw WiFi, i didn't use sorry no comment. I turned air on its very cold blasting. All linens and sheets/ towels clean no stained noticement. Theres plenty food nearby, 3 gas stations and ice cream shop. I'll be returning again soon, theres no need to look elsewhere.

Rooms were nice, the Internet says they have continental breakfast, but they offer nothing for breakfast. Said they quit having it when covid started, guess they didn't get the memo on that subject. We booked thru booking. Com for two nights. If you add a night you don't get that same price. Pet friendly with a fee. Nice for the location.

This place has the most nicest, welcoming workers I've ever talked to. My first review was written out of anger and here's why, Me and my girlfriend made a reservation AHEAD OF TIME. We called a day early to make sure the room is clean and they gonna act like we didn't reserve the room saying someone had it even though we had RESERVED IT A HEAD OF TIME. ONE WORKER WAS talking to us nicely but another worker butted in with a snappy attitude saying "I ALREADY TOLD YOU THE ROOM IS DOWN WE CAN'T HELP YOU GOODBYE" and hung up in my face. That got me real heated so I wrote that negative review, however my experience with them yesterday showed more reason to why they said what they and it was all a communication issue. Me and my girlfriend went there yesterday and I literally cannot stop smiling The workers was so welcoming and nice it even made me feel embarrassed for writing that review. The room is what really turned my opinion around. The beds was so soft and comfortable and very clean, the AC was working perfectly, and the bathroom was exceptional and clean. After our hours of passionate fun, we both left the room with big smiles on our faces. Definitely can't wait to come back again. This place deserves 10 stars.
